



Phnom Penh—On September 16–17, 2025, His Excellency Chea Sereyvath, Secretary General of the General Secretariat of the Digital Government Committee (DGC), participated in the Feasibility Study Recommendations Workshop on the Digital Government Project at Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh. The workshop was also attended by His Excellency Thong Sopymakara and His Excellency Chanty Sothy, Deputy Secretaries General of the General Secretariat of the DGC; and technical officials from both MPTC and DGC, as well as representatives from Agence Française de Développement (AFD)—bringing together approximately 20 participants.
During the workshop, H.E. Secretary General Chea Sereyvath shared the progress of the digital transformation efforts led by the Digital Government Committee while also outlining the long-term vision for building a digital government that aimed to improve the citizens’ quality of life and build their trust through better public service provision.
📌 It is worth noting that this two-day workshop was organized by Agence Française de Développement (AFD) to discuss Cambodia’s digital transformation journey as part of the feasibility study for the Digital Government Project, which seeks to build the next-level foundation for Cambodia’s digital government.
