Phnom Penh— On the morning of October 22, 2025, His Excellency Chea Sereyvath, Secretary General of the General Secretariat of the Digital Government Committee (DGC), participated in the workshop on “Datacenter and Digital Solutions: Exploring Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Efficient Energy and Sustainability in Datacenters,” held at the Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh. The workshop was also attended by His Excellency Thong Sopymakara, Deputy Secretary General of the General Secretariat of DGC; representatives from Schneider Electric; and technical officials from the General Secretariat of DGC—bringing together approximately 20 participants.

During the workshop, Mr. Johnathan Yau, Schneider Electric Regional Digital Energy C&SP Business Leader in East Asia & Japan, and Mr. Christophe Bruno DESMARAIS, Schneider Electric Datacenter Solution Architect APAC, delivered presentations on key topics, including (1) energy management software; (2) artificial intelligence and its impacts on datacenter infrastructure; and (3) sustainability in datacenters.

🎯 It is worth noting that this workshop was organized with the objective of sharing knowledge and best practices related to digital transformation by focusing on the integration of AI and the efficient and sustainable energy use within data centers.
